Would it be better with a separate forum just for reviews?
Now I count 12 HTF REVIEWs on the first page in this forum
and it seems like every second thread is a review
when scanning the subjects.
Don't get me wrong, I think it is great that Ron puts
a lot of time and effort into this! I just thought
about a dedicated forum for reviews and comments, both HTF's and others.

As I said, just a thought...

Would it be possible, Parker, to alter the way the 'bumping' feature works? I understand Ron's motivation in keeping up his recent reviews on the first page of threads, but the way in which they're bumped causes the 'last post' time to be altered incorrectly. In the case of some of these reviews, the 'last post' time is as much as a week and half off from the actual last post.

Guys,

I appreciate your concern.

I bump up about a half dozen of my reviews
once or twice a week to keep them current.

The studios have requested that the reviews
be kept within the first or second page.

I never thought this would be a problem, as
by the end of the day I bump them, the reviews
have sort of scattered themselves.

I don't want to create an exclusive area for
these reviews to be posted in. The idea is for
these reviews to be placed in a high-traffic area
where they will be seen and responded to. This
is the agreement I made with many of the studios
that supply me with screener product.

I apologize for any inconvenience that the bumping
of these reviews have caused any of you. They
are only being bumped twice a week maximum, most
generally on a Friday.

The bumping should not cause the thread to read
as NEW, so it is very easy to realize there are
no new replies in the thread.

Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
