    What a sweet film.

Legally Blonde is yet another of those MGM Blu-rays exclusive with Walmart, and while I originally felt that this was odd -- I'm now able to find a Walmart in an adjoining state that carries the exclusives. But if one cannot, and I'm aware of the problems for our friends north of the border, shipping is under $2.

I believe that a message is being sent by MGM and Walmart, and it's an interesting one.

Blu-ray discs of regular length studio productions should not exceed a street price of $10.

    Works for me.

Now we need all of the other studios to cut their prices, or possibly just distribute only via Walmart.

For those who might be thinking cut-rate, damaged goods, old transfers...

    Don't

Legally Blonde is an A+ level studio transfer that looks and sounds terrific. You even get DTS-HD Master Audio for your ten bucks.

    Great film.

Beautiful transfer, with spot on color, great black levels and shadow detail, and no obvious digital problems.

    Highly Recommended.
