Blake Edwards' 1962 Experiment in Terror is a thriller that beautifully stands the test of time. The new Blu-ray from Columbia via Twilight Time is more of the same that we always seem to get from that studio. And writing about it gets boring. Perfection. A startlingly beautiful and correct black & white image, with proper grain structure, great gradations of textures from black to white, a clean image, and sound that's as good as it gets for the era, which is quite good. What's interesting here, is that although originally released in monaural, the archival vault rats at Columbia must have ferreted out stereo music stems, which make for a nice addition. No laziness there. Just a gorgeous Blu-ray. And one apt to sell out. Image - 5 Audio -5 Highly Recommended. RAH
