Gregg,

How does the Sony (KP-57WS520) compare to the Mits?

I did talk to my ISF guy today. He gave a slight edge to Sony -- he says they've really focused on optics quality, in general, for the last several years. But, he did say he can achieve a really good calibration with the Mits (something with the temp. setting?). He said both were above Toshiba.

So, it's down to the Mits or Sony for me. The only thing about Sony is it makes me a little nervous some of the things I heard about flicker, etc. Not sure if it effects this model.

Well, I went with the Sony (57") today --- they are delivering it tomorrow.. I think this size should be ideal.

Everyone --- thanks for your help!

The Hi-Scan feature in 480p is great, I can imagine the 1080i would really help this picture shine. Enjoy
