Hi,

Anyone know if the rear surround amps are reassignable
to be used for the second zone or do I have to
have a second 2 channel amp for the second zone.

I'm only running 5.1 right now but would like to use the second zone.

The 2nd room output is always unpowered. You need a seperate amp to power them.

Alas, I have come to believe that this is sad, but true. I was very much hoping to use the extra 2 speakers like some other receivers do. I have yet to find a way to "reassign" them. I had even heard it could be done, before I bought the 4ES.
