~$400 for Speakers--Recomendations? (1 Viewer)

A friend of mine asked me for some help with his set-up. He wants to spend about 400 for speakers, a 5.1 or 6.1 HT system. I suggested the JBL SBC series. He can try them out locally and I have heard good things about them. I also suggested that HSU would be worthwhile, but he may be reluctant to do this through mail order.

Of course, I told him to go try out a speakers and find some he likes.

Any other suggestions?
