I'm going to need a 25' - 40' run of HDMI cable for a 1080p projector. (The conduit length is 25' port to port. Depending on where I place the projector and the electronics, that could add 5' to 15' to the total distance.) (I prefer a single HDMI, since it will should be easier to pull through the conduit and take less room, making it easier to also pull speaker wire for Atmos speakers.)

Any particular recommendations or advice? The two low-cost options seem to be:
Mono price Cabernet cables:

Monoprice Ethernet HDMI extender + 2 pair Cat5e cables

If I want to get spendy, for triple the price I can go with Blue Jeans' (I've bought all but one of my regular 3' HDMI cables from them.)

For HDMI over 25 feet, it's best to use some kind of active cable or signal booster. I use a Monoprice cable with Redmere active technology that's about 40 feet, works perfectly.

Thanks. The first mono price link is for one of their "Redmere" cables (the slightly more expensive version that's CL2 rated for in-wall use.) And it claims to be 4k capable, which will save me from re-buying in a few years. I'll go with that. Just need to figure out how much length to get...

I went with the 50 foot. It looked like a 40 foot would have been enough for my space, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the extra length one day just in case.

I wasn't sure if it was better to buy shorter when possible, or any length to 50 ft would be the same.

I don't think it makes a difference...haven't noticed any problems with mine.
