Are you still happy with the display? I am ready to buy now and it's all so confusing anymore. I have an Xbox one and a ps3 that need to look good.

Yep. Just be sure you are ok with the casting paradigm before you buy, it's not for everyone. And make sure you buy certified HDMI 2.2 cables for HDR sources

I have to learn what that is. I've been out of the game for a while, haven't even been on the forum in years, but trying to get back in it but make smart choices for my limited budget.

Essentially there is no tuner and no Apps on the panel. All apps run on its companion tablet or your own tablet/phone including those made by apple. Videos get handed over from the tablet to the panel via way of Chromecast. It's really easy to use if you are the one guy operating it, but it's a bit more complex to train a larger family on how it works, from what I understand.

Where do you get 2.2 HDMI cables? All I ever see is 2.0.

Ok thanks! Everything we run is through the Xbox or PlayStation anyway, I just want the best picture I can get for my limited budget.

Big fixes this weekend. They don't 100% solve the X1S stuttering issues but supposed to help:
- Big improvements on HDR10 picture quality
- Fix for "green tint" issue on Playstation 4 when in Deep Color
- Added 50Hz support for Xbox (just makes set up go smoother)
- Fixed more instances of split screen
- Fixed instances of stuttering or frame drops
- Sharpness setting fixed (doesn't revert)
- Clean Action scanning improvements for 60Hz
- 40IRE adjustment fixed in Calibrated Dark
- Lots of fixes in for ARC and dropped audio
- Wake on CAST improvements
- Fixes for freezing seen in Hulu app
- Improvements in OOBE and pairing during setup
- General stability and PQ improvements across the system
