Besides that lots of those titles are shorts or documentaries, how many of those titles are realistically going to make people buy a new TV or player?

Having never seen a 3-D presentation, if it is possible to enjoy without having to buy a bunch of new gadgets I'd like Titanic or Avatar to be the first, since Titanic is more than likely coming out within the next couple of years.

Would be cool if it works w/ my semi-120Hz Samsung DLP, but sounds like it might not -- and even if it does, it'd probably be at 1/2-resolution due to Samsung's implementation on their DLP RPTVs.

But anyway, maybe they'll get me back into trying out some video games for a change -- or maybe not.

At the end of the day, sounds like this will mainly just be a gamer thing w/ very little actual cinematic value for the forseeable future...

I own the philips 47pfl7403D/F7 and also the ps3 (80) and it works fine with the 120 refresh rate.
