I can think of few films yet to released that I am awaiting more than LOA. This film begs for blu-ray but sadly doesn't seem to be on Sony's radar. Do you have any insight into this?

Ok this is what we know... The master film elements to the original pre-special edition Star Wars trilogy are in very poor shape. So poor that LFL had to reuse the old faces laserdisc masters for the 2006 2-disc releases. Heck the master negatives might have been junked for all we know...

I just finished watching this John Wayne film from 1963 and all I can say is that this is one of the best transfers I have ever seen. Colors and sharpness are outstanding. No restoration needed here.Also check out True Grit, another great transfer in the John Wayne collection.

My understanding is that the dvds of CLEOPATRA-MY FAIR LADY and DOCTOR DOLITTLE were from 35mm sources. In that case, will we ever see new transfers from 65mm sources, considering that new Todd-AO prints were struck for CLEOPATRA and DOCTOR DOLITTLE.
