My ideal home theater? I'd love to have a dedicated, sound treated room setup and calibrated by a professional installer for 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos powered by a couple McIntosh amps with the Onkyo 1030 at it's heart.

It really depends on the motherboard but most newer boards should just be able to use the secondary on-board GPU as a pass-through while keeping your primary dedicated GPU as the render source. Unfortunately some boards will disable the on-board features completely if using a dedicated card. If...
