Hello to all,
It has been a long time indeed and I hope all systems are well. I'm running the MLs Motion 40s, a Dynamo 700 using the Marantz SR7007. Took off the center and rears because in the process of moving. Should I set the fronts to large or small? What crossovers do you suggest I have...
My sub is both a downfiring and frontfiring, does it matter if I change it to front for the time being until I look into buying the above suggested accessories?
As some of you are aware of my current setup (2 MLogans Towers and SR7007). I just got a sub (Dynamo 700) about a few months ago. However, my floor is hardwood which affects the sub because of the vibrations as all of us know that vibrations do not go well with audio/speakers. I currently, as of...
Awesome start up system. I'm glad you went with that type of HTIB from Yamaha unlike the other nonsense (Samsung, Sony etc...). As mentioned, don't be surprised if you start looking to add more components there, you know the saying: "Go big or go home" because this game is fun and enjoyable. Go...
So I've owned the SR7007 & a pair of ML Motion 40s for several months now. 75% audio, the rest movies. I know that a center & the subwoofer are next soon. I've only did the sound audessy on the initial setup and that's it.
Any suggestions on what further tweaking within the AVR I can do or you...
The Yamaha Alright A740 or even the Marantz 1605. Both have the WiFi built in, good GUI. More importantly is the sound & video performance due to their built over the VSX-44.Elite models VSX-60 and up
What are your thoughts on the new beasts from MartinLogan, the Neolith? Are they worth the suggested MSRP of about $80K? And what amp would you use to power, truly enjoy them?
The Def Tech 1000s or you can also consider the MartinLogan Motion 4s along with the Dynamo 500. Keep the receiver as is, just in case you decide to add more speakers or do towers in the future perhaps as the children get older.
If you would like to stream chromecast contents to multiple TV via HDMI cable, buy a HDMI splitter with one in and multiple outs. However, you will be playing the SAME content on both TVs
The VSX-1123 could also come in handy for the future as far as adding/changing speakers and even component. For the price and performance, I recommend it. Otherwise, the Marantz - 1403
The multi-zone will offer you the flexibility to listen to different/same content in different rooms. The AVR itself to have that feature is gonna run about $500 to still do 7.1. As a thought, Magnolia has a bundle of $900 I believe that consists of Pioneer VSX-43 & Def Tech PC600, not a bad...
Great choice of not doing HTIB at all. How big is the room? Do you guys wanna do a 5.1 still? What size of speakers are you looking for (towers, bk shelves, satellites)? What components will be utilized? What's also important to you/wife, bass or treble? Do you plan on adding more speakers to...
