You would not need the raw scan to work from. I know because I've done it. ;)

It did get a fabulous new scan for the French Gaumont disc in 2016. The problem was, it was tealed to death, with the entire film looking blur-green in that Ritrovata style. This grading on that scan would be the ultimate edition.

No it wasn't. I've re-graded the entire 2014 MGM disc to match the MOndo and the shadow detail was still there. Kino just crushed it to death, which is a shame.

You're missing what I'm saying. There are no new UK discs of Lavender Hill Mob or Man in the White Suit. Hence, there are no "new" versions outside the ones created in 2011-2012. Coronets DID receive a new 4K scan/restoration/edition/whatever. Semantics aside, that's not what's important...

Not according to StudioCanal, which specifically says 4K restoration. The previous disc was a 2K scan.

Only one of the 3 Kino titles has a "new" UK release, and that's Kind Hearts & Coronets. The other two - Lavender Hill Mob and Man in the White Suit - are old releases from 2012 or so. Are you saying all three got recent 4K remasters? You said "All have been restored in one manner or another...

The region-free German double feature blu of Fistful/Few Dollars More is still the best looking version out there. It looks quite nice.

It's a mixed bag. It's the same Shout master but with slight DNR and artificial sharpening added. It doesn't seem to have the aliasing of the Shout, though. There still isn't a definitive edition out there.

Liked it up until the last act. After they "fixed" the whole concept of the reset, it became a standard boring movie.
