Well here we are in 2021 when we finally have a blue-ray of LastMafried couple in America and I can tell you the Blu-ray image quality seems to be top notch. Unfortunately music rights are still a issue. Still some missing music, particularily the CherylLynn tune “Got To Be Real” is still MIA.iI...
the Winnshop Disney release seems to be selling well according to my FB feed. I’ve seen a few folks on that FB THREAD are buying the collection solely for SOTS.
once things in my life stabilize I may go take one for the HTF team and purchase a copy, the write a review.IMHO TTHE Winnshop release...
MY apologies @DaveF . it didnt occurr to me that that site might be bootleg it looked legit actually looked like a Disney offering. you might want to delete the graphic as well as it mentions the site link. its actually a screen capture off my phone. The FB thread is still quite active with a...
well folks I've a couple responses from people who bought the set just to get SOTS. I just hesitant at that $75 price point. Back in my more financially (finansilly) carefree days I might have pulled the trigger. I don't know enough about the website to trust it with my credi card info.Looks...
Just one thinks that any hope of a SOTS release is DOA, this pops up on my FB feed
the appearance of SOTS on this particular offering has drawn a comment ortwo om the feed.

This movie title bings to mind an amusing memory from my chicken-on-my knee-days of USMC youth:
Our platoon was a 8th&I concert (Usmc HQ)and the band starte to play th number 'Strike up he Band". one my fello Marines quipped 'string up the band' Becasuse their rendition was putting everyone to...
Good Day Ron:
No reflection on your home theater market expertise or anything but re-read the posting. I came away with a different conclusion.
Looks to me like SAE is leaving the door open to a continuation of the Twilight Time label which could include new releases TT had planned on before...
Which brings up the question of what happens with the titles that TT had licensed out but never got the chance to actually release? Will another boutique house get these titles?
And in the news today, an important Supreme Court ruling:

Made what I believe is my last purchase from the TT site today unless some or all 4 of the titles I hoped to get (on my wish list) sold out this morning before I could get a shot. Snatched 3 that I wanted but looks like I'll be doing the Screen Archives dance for the other four.
My three...
Well chalk this one up to COVID-19. Sales of players on the rise for once. Twenty seven percent rise.
Oh and streaming devices also on the rise:

To say nothing of Samantha Mumba’s outfit in the 2002 remake.
Speaking of which, there’s been sparse mention of that film in this or any other thread. Sad too because I thought it was a pretty decent film (I saw the 2002 film before I saw the 1960 film (got the 1960 Blu-ray ).
Oh and the 2002...
Well folks, I’ve read the RAH review and these further reviews AFTER I bought this new release of TCAT.
I’ll say I rather liked this release but may now consider the 2012 release only for the extras missing on the 2020 release.
Of course I’m one of those mentally deranged home theater...
Shucks, I have this edition of TCAT on order and now if I want those extras, I'll have to buy the previous Blu-ray as well (once again replacing the casing with a two-disc case from Caseatopia.
I was wondering when The Moonspinners (1964) would be added. Of course this happens after I bought a digital online copy on Vudu.
Still Missing:
Captain Ron (1992)
Six Days, Seven Nights (1998)
Amazingly though this film launched a mini phenomenon in 1983 ( my freshman year in college fresh off USMC active duty) of clothing styles. Particularly those off the shoulder sweatshirts where a lot of girls at my college showed up to class wearing this style, and usually forgetting to wear a...
Add two more to my library (even if my PayPal acct was having issues with the TT site).
Our Man In Havana (1959)
Hussy(1980)
Glad the sale is extended another month as I have some TT Wish List titles to get ahold of.
Preordered the 4K edition.
Also carted the steel book. Deciding if I want to swing the $10 price difference.
Being I was a college junior in 1986 (and on my way to an military officer’s commission), this film holds some memories for me.
Just popped up on my FB feed. One of my Favourite 70s titles awaiting a Blu-ray release. Date TBA.
