I selected the music button and options button. It still stays in stereo, I can see all the speakers but only the front left and right on during the internet modes.
hi i recently set up a surround sound main zone on this receiver and whenever i play the internet radio it only plays in stero, is it possible to utilize more speakers or atleast the subwoofer? i haven't been able to find a setting to adjust that.
Thanks
Nevermind the power, i think the work around would be to just get another pre-out zone and manage the external speakers that way using 2 speaker switches as you indicated previously. I read through your previous notes and it answered lot of my questions in that regard, thanks again. One...
From a management perspective I want to be able to manage the room speakers individually. My goal was always to be able to manage the room speakers individually so that if i want it louder outside ( or completely off a night and probably most of the time ) i'm able to adjust the volume or...
I believe i'm misinterpreting "powered zone 2". I thought the watts for the zone 2 speakers was from the speaker switch, not the AVR itself as I will need to connect through RCA cables to the switch. You indicated previously that only with the appropriate speaker switch would you be able to...
it looks like if zone 2 is powered they would be able to control it but I don't believe the zone2 on the X3000 is powered as that comes from the speaker switch?
What is the feature i would be looking for in a speaker switch that would allow the Denon to control each speaker individually? I've been looking at a few and don't see any keyword that would indicate it allows me to control it through the AVR ( and ultimately the mobile application ). I...
Think per your suggestion i'm sticking with the Denon X3000, that has the apps for the phone. it will let me control the individual speakers through the second zone and speaker switch?
Sounds like a great trip, my wife would actually love to see those spots.Do you have any experience for inline volume controls? Was debating if wouldBe beneficial for the outdoor speakers
Thanks - I was looking at some yesterday. For the rest of the speakers in the 7.1, you don't mind mix & matching brands? I was trying to find a ceiling one that you can rotate a little so it faces in on the room, i saw some that are fixed angles. Do you know of any brands that do that?
Hah, good luck with them!I'll look in craigslist for used ones but only brands I know are klips name a few other big names ones. Ton on craigslist in nyc. In the middle of a complete renovation so the demo work hopefully done this week and I'll be running the speaker wire next week.
For the cost do the measure up?
Sorry poorly worded, the range for some of them is 20-200 Watts, the amp's max per channel is 215 Watt's but the range i read some where was 30-105 watts.
What do you think of the Aperion audio systems? I was thinking of the Intimus 4T Hybrid SD system for 5.1 and purchasing a pair of their ceiling speakers for the surround aspect. I'd also use their speaker pairs for other rooms. Judging by the power the range is a little higher than the X3000...
Got it, thank you. Most of the runs should be under 60 feet so maybe i'll just stick to 12 or 14 to be safe.
I was thinking of using the surround left/right in the ceiling itself due to having no real walls on the right/left side for which to use. do you think this works okay as a solution...
would you recommend 14 over 16 for this AVR as far as the wiring goes? I'm going to draw out the rooms to try to figure how much wiring i need to order
My dinette is 13.8 X 11.6, in the middle of the room is the kitchen which is 6.8 X 10 roughly. My thought was one speaker in the middle of dinette and then one in middle of kitchen as the "Pair".
Do you have a favored speaker ceiling speakers? With the size of the rooms ( dining room being...
Okay, I really appreciate all your help with this.
2 Zones is perfectly fine and being able to share them is the only requirement there, I think anything additional would be overkill. It's not so much I want digital as the connections I have are currently digital.
The 3 pairs of speakers...
I meant by plugging speakers into a switch we're not connecting directly into the AVR. I understand the API part, i guess i'm not as certain as to the physical connections of it and the power required to go through. Connecting through Crestron allows me to connect additional switches through...
Sorry for the silly question but wouldn't you want to avoid connecting anything before the avr? The new integration I'll look at their site! I'm assuming the API allows you to control more options in different rooms?
ah gotcha, sounds like most of my sources will be digital minus that cable box if i need to use the analog.
Looking at this for the speakers, how would the connectivity work to a second zone? If i wanted to make a second zone, 2 speakers in the dining room or 1 stereo, 2 in the kitchen area...
PS4 is only HDMI, will have to check on my cable box but pretty sure it has an analog line ( time warner in NYC ). The 626, you're referring to another AVR?
Sources: PS4, maybe Xbox, blue ray dvd, perhaps ipad/ipod or some type of music device and of course cable. Streaming services ( Sirius, Pandora, etc )
I'd lke to share the sources so if we have say a football game in the living room it can be broadcast through the house, or if we have music...
Where did you see that AVR for 1000? I'm in general looking for new unless you know somewhere that is certified
The rooms aren't really big but in general you would recommend 2, one in each corner? I'm going to have the walls open in 2-3 weeks, in general i've read it could work as well with...
Okay, will look for the TV & more at the AVR. Quick info on their website I see I can control it with my IPAD which would make using multiple zones helpful.
In your experience for the multiple zones does it make sense to just have 2 zones? If I have the 4 spots to have sound ( Living Room...
Ugh one more question, I read other postings and know you prefer Plasma's. I was eyeing up this panasonic TV but of course its now not available at the sites I was going to order from ( Panasonic 55" Class 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma Smart HDTV-TC-P55ST60 ), I still think Plasma makes the best...
I started with just a home theater and have some options from a previous post here but when thinking about a way to lay it out ( and also someone raving to me about Sonos ) has shuffled stuff around. I'm not crazy about having power outlets in the ceiling. For the budget i'm thinking of...
Hi all,
I'm looking at receivers to do mulitple zones. I have a living room to setup surround sound in plus i'd like to add 1 ceilling speaker in the dining room, probably 2 in the living room and another one for ourdoors in the backyard. I'm debating adding to the bed rooms as well. I would...
I live in brooklyn NY and i'm not against used speakers. I think I would prefer a new receiver unless the warranty on used really covers it.. I looked over the room again and I think it will be okay with moving the TV to the middle of the room. On that note what do you think of the Panasonic...
