Finally bought the Yeti Can Colsters for 12 and 16 oz cans and it was well worth it. Keeps my beer cold much longer. Ended up getting my gaming communities logo etched on the front and back too :) Been keeping my Copper Ale from Midland Brewing Company nice and cold. Finally gave Fat Tire a try...
NYZ looks really fun! I have actually gotten into board game design as of lately. Was able to obtain a license to base it on the up and coming video game Vintage Story. In the early testing phases with it, so its got a long ways to go, but its been a fun ride so far.
Been playing a ton of Vintage Story, scratches the Minecraft itch better than Minecraft does anymore. Going to be picking Starbound back up next week since the gaming community I am in is firing a server up for that along side Vintage Story.
Been playing Vintage Story, its similar to Minecraft in some respects, but way better. Better visuals, better generation, more things to do, and runs a lot better. Been fortunate to have some of the game devs play on the server I run too since Aura Fury is the largest VS server out there right now
Started playing Minecraft again. Have two servers going, one is a really old world and the other one is only a week old. Got some new players too, been quite fun. Still looking for a few more players, but like the other server, in time I believe they will come :)
you could always setup a console controller on your PC. Would work for most games. There are a few that require a few more buttons though, but even those can be setup on a controller with a little creativity.
Yeah, for the longest time I couldn't get my family and friends to play Monopoly with me and if we did they would team up against in a futile effort lol. It was fun, but they got tired of it too. I have gotten them to start trying other games though. Lately we've been playing a ton of the...
Yeah, they could of done a lot better with Oregon Trail. The instructions read like its suppose to be a real challenge and hard to make to the end with everyone alive however in our first two play throughs, we all survived. The card that automatically kills you isnt much fun either (we've never...
Picked up the Oregon Trial board game (more like a card game) from Target the other day. Was quite entertaining. A lot shorter game then I'm use to playing
Played a whole bunch of Skyrim for PS4, really enjoyed the remastered graphics and I had never played the expansions. Now Im back to my old grind, Minecraft :P
Still playing Stardew Valley quite a bit, but I have set it down to try Terraria. Terraria is quite interesting, but hasn't hooked me as of yet. I'm thinking the learning curve is the only thing holding me back at the moment and once I get things figured out, I will like it more.
I've done quite a bit of research on using KS to launch a boardgame since I like to design games as a hobby. I talk with folks on another forum about it as well, but have not backed any personally yet. KS has proven to be a great way for small time designers to get off the ground and get their...
I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I put Minecraft down and started playing Stardew Valley. Been very pleased with it so far. I've put way more time into than I expected. I can't wait for the multiplayer to come out for it
After another long break I have returned to Minecraft. This time it is my wife's fault lol. She wanted me to update the servers and play with her. Now im hooked again
Played at a local Pokemon card tournament with my normal crew. Amazingly enough we all placed in the top 5. Its also the first game tournament that I've ever attended and out right won. It was by no means a huge tournament, only 30 people there, but it was pretty cool :)
Most the games I play with friends are 3+ hour games, its what were into. Even the board game I'm designing is this long. This could be a game to ponder getting. I'll have to research it a bit more though. We try to find games where the battle between two players doesn't get ridiculously long so...
Just finished up "Fallout Equestria" by Kkat. This has been the best fictional book I have ever read, in fact the first one I've liked in ages. I was literally bagged by a good friend to give it a try and I am glad I did. I went and got the epub version of it, but their is a print version of it...
Starwars X-Wing and Armada both look like really cool games. I've heavily considered giving them a try many times. The two biggest deterrents have been cost of getting lots of pieces and only being able to play 2 players. Theres usually 3 to 4 of us at a board game night.
Stan, I feel your pain...
Decided to wait til February to get Fallout 4 (when Im buying my PS4) so Im back to playing InfiTech 2 (GregTech based Minecraft mod pack). My wife and started a world together. We actually pulled out Dance Dance Revolution for the PS3 a couple days ago. Thats a great game to remind you how out...
All always enjoy the physical board game better than the digital versions, but you are right, its nice to be able to play the digital versions from time to time, especially when you dont have a group to play with :)
Ive been going through board game withdraw, got the shakes and everything...
I've got some addictive Minecraft mod packs (all one click installs) on 3 servers with an 18+ community thats quite a bit of fun if you are interested ;)
Pulled out the Nintendo and played Pro AM Racer 2 for a few days inbetween playing Minecraft. Been hitting Minecraft really hard mainly in the Chrome Prophecies pack and now were putting the InfiTech 2 pack on one of our servers. InfiTech 2 is a pack based and balanced around Greg Tech (a...
