Buying blurays in Spain is a nightmare- loads of bootlegs floating about too. No issues with 4K discs in Spain yet tho. Thanks for heads up on 'Patton'.

When talking about discs freezing/skipping/stopping etc during playback, it may be worth mentioning the exact model 4k disc player you are using as the player itself is often the problem, not the disc.

There are 3 different versions in Italy. The one to buy is the Theatrical version. Better compression and improved audio (Dialog glitch fixed).

They may have decided to use Guy Richie's name in title so as not confuse the film with another film with same title...'The Covenant' from 2006.

The Network bluray release of the classic WWII documentary The World At War narrated by Lawrence Olivier is fantastic...and the only release anywhere in the original aspect ratio. (Not sure if region B UK locked or region free- can check if anyone interested)

Sounds like it could be a player issue? I have owned numerous Region 'A' and Region 'B' bluray disc players over the years and would highly recommend next time, in your case, to buy a dedicated Region 'B' disc player and simply use a 'step up' transformer to deal with the different voltage...

Personally, anything with Brad Pitt nowadays I avoid like the plague.

Atmos audio has been been given a boost according to some... Some quotes... "This is the first Sony Atmos track I've seen where they used the full 16-channel object cluster stream container for TrueHD" "Not much of a bump in video bitrate like Air Force One (55841 kbps on the old release) but...

I have read on another forum that the Atmos mix on Zorro has been tweaked from the Atmos on the previous 4K non-steelbook version- can anyone confirm?

Disc sales are actually increasing worldwide. In the UK alone for example, in 2021, home entertainment revenue was up 13% to US$5 Billion...with more than 21 million discs sold....and the home entertainment market there is set to top $6 Billion in revenue by 2025. You'll be glad to hear out...

Maybe on release day...there are always dozens of sales at HMV, Zavvi and Amazon UK all the time. If you wait a short while those new releases drop in price very quickly.
