Looks like the 4k issues of A Christmas Story, Elf, Christmas Vacation and three Rankin-Bass Christmas Classics will all include Digital Codes with the 4k discs.
Outside of a few isolated episodes here and there, I wonder why “Combat!” has never been picked up by the streaming services. Robert Altman directed quite a few episodes, and the guest artist list features the likes of Robert Duvall, Lee Marvin, Richard Basehart and many other stars. With Vic...
I just received the Kino 4k UHD which I bought thru amazon.
My copy did not have a slipcase, which I know exists as I’ve seen it in online reviews. The slipcase is pictured at amazon. Does anyone know why or how this happens? Any chance I was resold a copy that got returned minus its slipcase?
Many of the physical disc movies I own also show up on the streaming services, or are accessible thru Movies Anywhere and Vudu due to my redeeming the digital codes. When at home, I endeavor to play the discs for these titles because my internet carrier (Cox) will ding me if I exceed my monthly...

I watched the new Criterion version last night. I greatly prefer it to the 2013 BluRay. Yes, I like the grain. The whole picture is clear, clean and natural to my way of looking, and the mono ST is fine. Worth the $30.
I’ve got this on preorder. Hoping it’s an improvement over the BluRay (which I reviewed unfavorably upon its 2013 release (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B000IZ0WQ4/R1QJS65U7ZXESI/ref=cm_cr_dp_mb_rvw_3?ie=UTF8&cursor=3)
