Are 4K discs more susceptible to scratching than Blu-ray discs? The three disc Aliens and The Abyss stack the 4K on top of the bonus features blu-ray. To be safe I swapped the lone blu-ray feature disc on the left with the 4k on the right side.
I received a DMC shipping notice the same time as others posted here. The package, with all three titles, was in my southern Wisconsin mailbox this morning.
Intro clips are not included on all episodes. For example, Disc 1 holds 6 episodes--- the first four have intros, the last two don't. But Episode 5 ("Small Man") does include a next week's promo for E6 ("Final Payment"). So things are a bit scattershot.
Here's what the menu screen looks like---
I just had to check. The Colt .45 song over the end credits makes its first showing in the 11th episode, "The Gypsies" (12/27/1957).
I watched the first two episodes on Disc 1. Both opened with a brief clip from the episode. And a single commercial bumper with a title card and voice-over saying "And now back to Colt .45."
First episode "Judgement Day" has a brief bit at the beginning with Peter Brown, soon to be co-star of...
Colt .45 arrived today from MovieZyng. Not to brag but just a heads-up that the product is out there and to be patient.
The box holds three blu-ray cases, each for a season---Season 1 contains four discs (26 episodes), Season 2 with two discs (14 episodes), and Season 3 with four discs (28...
The Colter Craven Story - WAGON TRAIN (S4.E9 - November 23, 1960) IMDB Rating 8.1/10
This is the episode directed by John Ford as a favor to Wagon Train's star, Ward Bond. It is said that Mr Ford had long wanted to make a film about a certain Civil War figure. This 53-minute TV episode's...

Royal Dano also appeared in one of the finest RIFLEMAN episodes - The Sheridan Story (S1.E16 - January 13, 1959). Rated 8.7/10 on IMBD.
A tale of antagonism post-Civil War with Dano a crippled ex-Confederate soldier encountering General Philip Sheridan, the Union's...
Received same email. Also placed order mid-December. Just ordered from Amazon. But being a Limited Edition, Amazon may not come through either. I guess we'll see.
The previous 4Ks released back in June were only HDR while these are Dolby Vision capable. And I agree about the extreme hassle extracting the discs from the sleeves.
GRUV consistently ships their pre-orders early. IT! The Terror From Space 4K and Duel 4K Steelbook arrived 4-5 days early. The recent Hitchcock 4K Boxset came a week early. And Oppenheimer 4K and The Fugitive 4K were received last Thursday (11/16).
And fast shipping. GRUV usually gets their pre-orders out early too. The latest 4K Hitchcock Collection arrived a week before the street date. And THE FUGITIVE and OPPENHEIMER arrived today.
Being a Disney Movie Club member may (hopefully) relieve some of the financial stress with their 40%/50%/60% discount after purchasing one item at full price.
I only print my own covers when the packaging is prone to scratching when placing discs in sleeves--- Like the Universal Monsters and Alfred Hitchcock Box Sets. I've already prepped a 5-disc UHD case and 6-disc Blu-ray case for the Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection Volume 3 coming out the end...
