TV ON BLU BEFORE I DIE - PRETTY PLEASE

Pretty good chance of 'Moonlighting' getting a Blu-ray release. If not blu-ray, it will at least be remastered in HD for streaming. Glenn Gordon Caron (creator of Moonlighting) confirmed on Oct. 5th that they received approval to prepare the show for streaming which will include an HD...

Concert Blu-rays (rock and pop) you recommend

I wanted to add 'Foreigner, Live at the Rainbow '78' Blu-ray to this list. This is a fantastic show with Lou Gramm on vocals. Stage is dark with minimal lighting, but looks and sounds great! described as being "restored from the original film reels".

HBO Max HBO Max (Official Thread)

The 'Home Box Office' branding was a smart move I think. HBO seems to have become a niche brand of quality content in recent decades, but it was essentially the Netflix of the 80's. Paid service for those that loved films and it was amazing. This feels like a return to the original purpose...

Whats the Probability that Dallas or Silk Stalkings

For so long, Magnum PI on Blu-ray was my holy grail of Blu-ray releases. Now that I own Magnum PI on Blu thanks to FF, the holy grail search must go on and Dallas on Blu-ray has taken that top spot. I've been rewatching the series and have gotten stuck with bad flipper discs. Have debated...

The Blue Dahlia (1946)- coming from Shout! Factory

Already have the Arrow, but if the Shout has any additional and worthy special features, notably a full length commentary track, I will double dip. My only disappointment with the Arrow disc is the very short 9 min or so scene specific commentary. Who does that in this day and age...

How Do You Catalog Your BD's?

All of my movies are in Binders. Each Decade has it's own binder(s). Then Alphabetical. I also have a separate 320 disc binder for Franchises/Sequels. The Bond movies and Star Trek movies really screwed up my decade system! When choosing a movie, the first question I ask myself is, what...

Hollywood (1980) documentary narrated by James Mason

TV and VHS rips can be found in various places on the internet. I picked up laserdisc rips from a questionable website years ago. Quality was better than I expected, but I would pick up official releases in a heart beat. This is a wonderful series.
