Well, although you talked up the 673 pretty good. With a budget in mind, and the limited time I will have to use the avr I think Im going to go with the 573.

Yep ordered so coaxial cables. Could not tell a difference. If I do end up getting a new avr, if I hook up my hdmi cables to th avr do I still need to use the coax/ optical cables?
I have my center channel set at its max (10) sub and front LR at (0) and Surround at 10. Yet my cc and surround still seem to be alot quieter than the 2 front speakers.
I use a Optical cord connected to my TV and all my components are hooked up through HDMI to my TV. Banana Plugs to hook up my speaker wire, Using 16g wire.
The Action Scenes sound Great! But the dialogue is sometimes hard to hear. I some times have to turn it up for dialogue and back down for action scenes. And my surround speakers can barely be heard at all, but you can hear them vaguely.
The system has 4 surround outlets, 2 labeled surround and 2 labeled surround back. It's a 5.1 system but offers a 7.1 setting that I dont think is true 7.1. Crossover (XOver) is on and is set to 200 (max, 50 is the min)
I have been trying to figure out how to get the most out of my speakers in my Home Theater System. I have had issues with my surround Speakers not producing that loud of sound, while my vocals are also pretty quite when compared to how loud action scenes tend to get. My Setup is A Pioneer...
