i figured it out, i had the hdmi cable in wrong hdmi input on the tv, i should have had it in hdmi2, works good now thanks for advice

if im watching a movie id like to hear it coming out of the denon instead of the televisions speakers

i have a panasonic tx-p42s30b connected to a denon avr1912 via hdmi, how do i get the denon to play the audio for the panasonic what settings on the denon do i use and how, a walk through would be very appreciated
