OK, so finally i ordered a BIC F12...should come in sooon... unfortunately for the ML sub..the seller at Amazon is of no help and they are giving all sorts of lame execuses... probably would open up the SUB and send the plate to the ML guys...

I think that there would be something like an HDMI switch which should do the work for you...not sure..but again there are plenty of champs in this forum to confirm that...

Thanks, this worked.. i realized on that weekend that the center channel speaker had the + and - wires royally kissing each other :) that fixed it...

yea.. i guess the whole weekend would go in debugging this ( well not a bug exactly : ) ) .. so to start with unplug all the wires from the receiver and attach one by one...

Hi, i have setup a Pioneer AVR 1122k with a set of Martin Logan 5.1 and everything was working fine till a month...now all of a sudden while watching some movies on Netflix the AVR automatically shuts down...any idea what the issue can be? i did check the rear panel for some wires shorting but...

Contacted Martin Logan.. told them that the subwoofer makes the noise with it being powered up. The Av receiver is off and still the bursts come in...they confirmed that the back plate is faulty...returning the subwoofer:(

Ground Loop...checking that..something do with an "imperfect" ground....i have connected everything to a Monster Surge protector....how do i eliminate that? btw...i got your Yay in the mail but not here. :), do u really like the ground loop sound?:)

I did that twice and i do hear the thumping sound but then after some time the tiny bursts again intermeittently start again...is there something which i have to take care for the subwoofer? like keep it off ? I noticed that there is a phase setting behind 0 & 180...there is also a low pass...

And the frequency of the Noise is becoming quite promininent..its constantly coming out like small bursts...is that interferrance or bad wire?

After the callibration the Speaker setting does show as Front : Small, Surround : Small , center : Small and SB : NO...

There is a menu button but pressing that kindoff flashes a screen on the TV with Advanced MACC but which areas do is see? in Other setup?
