Jimmy, your obvious cherrypicking of those stats does not help your case. I am old enough to have lived through the original runs of both shows and remember them both as being very popular. If Bonanza defines westerns for you, fine. Others, like Joe Lugoff, feel differently. Relatives a bit...

    The Streets of San Francisco...

The Thrill Killers wasn't a two hour episode. It was originally shown in two parts, on 9/30/76 & 10/7/76. I haven't received my set yet, but I am surprised to hear that the opening credits were not remastered, while the episodes themselves were. Strange.

Is the b&w era of TV on DVD slowly coming to an end?

Timeless will soon be releasing Stoney Burke (confirming previous reports), Tombstone Territory season 1, Wagon Train season 6, and The Virginian season 7 (not B&W, but many here will be happy to know this).

    Alfred Hitchcock Presents Season 6

Great news! With the long gap between seasons 4 & 5, I figured I'd have to buy the Madman sets to finish the run. Now, it looks like the Madman releases are stalled out with season 6, and maybe Universal will finish the half hour shows after all.
