But in the vertigo doc, they talk about the colors and how they went back to hitch's notes and got the right green for the jag, rah rah rah.. so the colors were good then in 96 but they arent now?

so the obvious question is then, if Katz and Harris did this amazing restoration work and was supposed to be the new elements to last for years to come, why wasnt it used for the blu-ray? so are we saying the colors weren't correct in 96? and they still arent and should be? or were the colors...

At the risk of a public stoning. I find it puzzling why one would give this disc a generally positive review and then months down the roadanddo a 180 and make it out to be a disaster. You watch the restoration doc and they go on and on about the work they did and how it's protected and...

This whole thread leaves a bad taste in my mouth and fishy to say the least. But hey what do I know.. It looks beautiful to me. The only problems I see are the flashback intro and the scenes in the tower at the end.

I guess I'm stating the obvious but watching this 50 episode set. There"s more than just a touch of sadness ssthat runs thru this show. Having grown up with the 30 min syndicated shows it didn't seem as obvious but it is quite present.

im surprised there isnt talk of at least someone getting their big set by now.. said they were shipping the 13th.

I know im being impatient, but good grief! im tired of reading all the Hitchcock blurays going to other countries! Its getting rediculous and maybe im wrong but not a sniff of talk about any of these releases in the good ole U.S.A, just rumors and pre-order dates from a year ago. geesh!!
