Looking good.

I've decided to buy the Marantz SR5006 to run the front L/R in bi-amp mode and still have a proper 5.1 setup.

No the 1612 doesn't have any pre-amp outs, guess I'll have to upgrade :)

I'm undecided on a center channel, initially I'm against one because of my general design views and the DC6's are very clear and responsive with the voice frequencies.

So far my wife and I are very pleased with this setup. We live in a apartment in downtown Portland so sadly running cables through the walls is out of the question. I don't have any of the throw measurements or screen size, but I'll add that once I get home. Enjoy. Current Setup: Panasonic...

Thanks Mike. Gene, I'm looking for a decent powered 5.1 HD receiver that has a minimilist front bezel. I really dislike all the buttons and knobs. Although, I did find the Marantz NR1403 and it's growing on me. It has more buttons that I want but the slim form factor is very slick...

I'm researching for a AV receiver that is minimalist by design. Currently the best ones I've found so far are the Harman Kardon AVR 2600 and the Denon AVR 1613, but even those have too much buttons on the front bezel for my taste. Does anyone know of any other brands or models...
