What makes TMM even more puzzling is that the Overture and Exit are stereo on the VHS, laser and DVD. What happened between the DVD and the blu? Like you said, anything is possible.

That was even true in 1994 - when I saw it at a theater back then, a few friends and I were laughing when these two young men turned and said, "Stop laughing, it's a serious movie" or words to that effect. Which frankly made us laugh louder.

This film was a favorite of my Dad's - we went to see it several times, including a drive in. Not a big favorite of mine, but it brings back good memories so I will definitely buy a copy of this one. I must say that Nick Nolte was the perfect actor for the role. A great performance.

Oh those excruciating days when several of your favorite shows were on at the same time and there was no VCR in sight and a choice had to be made. We likely watched Star Trek because my parents loved it - and that is fine with me but I loved Bewitched and My Three Sons also!
