Just watched it also. It's like seeing the film again for the first time. . .it really is an amazing transfer, even slightly better than The Pirate. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was that the outtake of March of the Doagies was not in HD, despite what it says here.

Unfortunately, the picture quality of the blu-ray lives up to the cover artwork -- it's really bad. Muddy color, banding, and line work that is not sharp. Plus the print has all kinds of dust, dirt and scratching. Really sad to have to wait all these years for THIS.

This is a movie I like more and more as an adult. I like the spunkiness of the lead female character, the My Fair Lady-esque patter songs for Harrison, the orchestrations, the beautiful cinematography, the cute kids in the title song, and best of all -- Harrison's impassioned plea for animal...

Very excited about this one...I saw some HD snippets on Vudu and it looks amazing. Now, let's get Goodbye, Mr. Chips, Flower Drum Song, Sweet Charity, Star, Dr. Doolittle and Thoroughly Modern Millie on blu and I'll be in nirvana!

Still waiting for this one. The movie is really not all THAT bad -- it's entertaining, the chorus work IS great, and the sound on the DVD was pretty impressive. Would love to see this one on blu.

I can't wait for my blu of Kiss Me Kate to arrive tomorrow. I DID see it in 3D at the Film Forum here in NYC a few years ago, but the projection was dim and there was a reel missing which completely eliminated "I Hate Men" and the scenes surrounding it! I'm happy to hear the PQ is so great on...

Just watched mine, and found it beautiful. Did anyone else notice the wires were digitally removed, (like they did with the lion's tail wire in Oz?) The scene where she is holding the Audio-Animitronics bird has also had the control wire removed behind her hand, that you can see in the other...

I feel your pain on this. . .why would they go to the trouble of putting together yet another package with these movies without releasing them on Blu-ray---especially since a couple of them are ALREADY on Blu? One of the most exasperating announcements I've heard. . .unless it's incomplete...
