    Can dust really do that?

Thanks Mike, The argument from their part states that the guy defo used a drop cloth "Cuz we gave him one" lol Giving one doesnt mean it was used. I did bring landlorld in to personally show him, and he goes: "Oh. damn.. youre right. He didnt use it...And your receiver was like that the whole...

    Can dust really do that?

The BluRay player is a Panasonic DMP BDT-210 being ran via HDMI to an Onkyo receiver (part of HTS 7300 set) I believe the receiver is an HTR680. All other Blurays so far run perfectly.

    Can dust really do that?

Wow! @_@ You really think that's it, eh? The reviews were crystal clear in stating that the Blu ray version included in the double feature were the same exact ones found in the individual copies. I found it very VERY hard to believe, I'll admit, considering theyre each well over that price...

    Can dust really do that?

Hey guys, Kinda new to the whole "more advanced" home theater society, so bear with me. Purchased an Onkyo Receiver with (as is usually the case) lots of vents along the top of it. About 2 days ago, my landlords went into my apartment and worked on my ceiling. When I got home, the entire place...

    Onkyo HT-S7300 Speaker replacement?

Hey David, Ok so as I mentioned before, the Audyssey was a lot more accurate this time around, but sadly, the speakers still sound "mreh" The difference is better, but very minimal in comparison to what it was before. I'm [can't] not gonna invest in a new center just yet, but it's something to...

    Onkyo HT-S7300 Speaker replacement?

Ok. Happy to report that I ran Audyssey late last night, and it was perfectly accurate. I had originally just "plopped" the mic to the top of my cushy leather couch, not realizing just how important a flat elevated surface would be. I placed it on top of a 4 foot high flat plastic tube, and...

    Onkyo HT-S7300 Speaker replacement?

Really?! I didn't think the Audyssey was THAT accurate. Go figure. First experience with it. The room although rectangular is odd shaped since I have a living room connected to a kitchen with virtually no wall between the two. All speakers do have sound. I did have a home theatre before this...

    Onkyo HT-S7300 Speaker replacement?

Hey David, Thanks for the quick reply. I had originally been looking at a Samsung system with very very limited connectivity. I basically chose the lesser of two evils by choosing an HTIB but going with Onkyo. The center is directly at my eye level with the tv approximately 1 foot above it. It...

    Onkyo HT-S7300 Speaker replacement?

What's goin on, people? Just a lil over a month ago I was looking for suggestions regarding purchasing a HTIB, and ultimately decided to jump on the Onkyo HT-S7300, main reason being possible future upgrade options. All works well so far as far as I can tell. HowEVER… I notice that the center...

Crisscrossing video cables with power ones.

Hey Wayne, Thanks a lot for the info. My cables are thankfully not subpar. I honestly didnt think it'dve been a major issue, but I'm glad to have heard it from someone else. I appreciate the reply, man. Regards, Christian

    Surround Setup Noob.

I'll take a crack at this although I'm not nearly as advanced as most of the other users in this forum. Just wanna get the ball rolling for you. Seems like a pretty nice system, and one that I had spotted just a lil over a year ago. Your biggest problem with it (if it's even a problem for you)...

Crisscrossing video cables with power ones.

I've heard the rumors when we had a security camera installed in our offices a while back about how I shouldnt let the video cables from the monitor ever criss cross the power ones. Fast forward a week back.. Just purchased and hooked up an Onkyo HT-S7300 system with 16 gauge wires. As we all...

Intermediate, looking for a quick fix.

I decided to stick with my original choice and AI's recommendation of the Onkyo 6300. I've been doin my homework, but I'm sure your answers would be a lot more through, and streamlined. What would be the best blu ray player within the 100-200 range? I noticed that in this very forum, the Sony...

Intermediate, looking for a quick fix.

@ David. Yea. I've given myself this speech a million times. :/ I just tried crunchin numbers, and I really saw this as the only 'short term' option. Of course, unless I just decide to take that "financing" money, and save it up for a month or two. I really just wanted to pay it off little by...

Intermediate, looking for a quick fix.

I know I'm committing HTF Sacrilege by mentioning this but the question is regarding a HTiB. As far as my own experience goes, I am an intermediate audiophile for the most part. Recently purchased a Samsung 50" Plasma, and am looking to upgrade my very old and outdated Koss dvd 600w system. My...
