The wii is connected thru Component cables, and it works. I thought maybe being an HD cable was the reason, but now that I know it should work via composite, I will try again, maybe I had a bad cable.... thanks for your input.

Yes, I use this one: Lutron Maestro IR 600-Watt Dimmer with Infrared Receiver I control it with my harmony 1100, I actually have it included in my "Watch Blu Ray" activity, on a delay and the lights go down 1 minute after I push the button.

I used a Lutron IR available at Home Depot or Lowes, works great. There are alot of different ones in the # $30 - $40 range.

Checked out a bunch of pics of homemade mounts and I can see how slick the wing -nut adjustment theory is. I will definitely be using that method. Thanks again for your help
