I too have the 70's (six of them) in my theater. They are currently paired with 2 dayton 15's. The combo sounds great. And even without the subs on the range of the 70's is good and they can still put out a decent bass IMO. For the price I've been very happy.

The problem was when I wired up the subs I put in series not parallel. So simply fixed that. It had been so long since I had been on here I had forgotten Rebert_J said to wire them in parallel.

I have 2 - 505's in my living room on either side of me. They sound okay for everyday use but I feel they fall short especially on the low end of things. Hence they wont be going in the theater when finished. I think I paid $180 for mine on newegg with free shipping.
