New theater build, going to need a little help.

Is it bad etiquette to bring up old threads? Sorry, but I was just continuing with my room build. Got it pretty much done. Ended up with a 106" screen that I DIY'ed with Mountain Mist gray paint. Projector is an Epson powerlite 720. Onkyo 7.1 surround, but I swapped out the fronts for KEF...

New theater build, going to need a little help.

I took the picture from the door, it's on the side wall, at the back of the room, right at the back wall. The door is going to open out into our family room so it doesn't take up space in the theater. Good idea for placing the sound panel. I guess I need to just get some seats in there and see...

New theater build, going to need a little help.

O.K. Good, that's what I was hoping for. I guess I need to do a little research on "timbre matching" and look into SVS and Elemental Designs. Thanks.

    Behr Silver screen paint...

I used the silverscreen paint and am very pleased with it. Here is a before and after. The colors really came out, and I ended up turning down the brightness too.

Which is better? Piece together system, or package system?

Right now I have a movie room/play room with a Panasonic system I got from Costco a few years ago. It sounds pretty good for what we use it for. Now we are having a house built, and I am going to have a dedicated theater room. Not going to be huge, but it should be perfect for 4-6 people. The...
