You don't need extra connections for your audio. I have the sony str-dh700 and I struggled with this too. You need to set your Audio out setting to "Amp" instead of "Amp+TV" There is a little note on page 28 of your manual that says: • When you want to listen to the sound from the TV speaker...- appelbad
