Not sure if I am in the right forum, but I'll give it a try. I have paired my Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds to my Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver. Problem is that the voice is out sync. Would appreciate knowing how to sync the buds to the Yammy? BTW, if I can sync, will the syncing effect syncing when...
So, if I follow your lead, that will mean that I would have to get 2 transformers. One would be to the headphones (4 mm male end) and the other would be to the transmitter (4 mm male end). As far as I can tell, I couldn't use the original transformer unless I got an adapter that would have two...
Sennheiser is out of stock and apparently won't be making anymore. I did find a place that has it, but they are hosing you for it. Sennheiser sold it for $8; these guys want $13 + $10 for shipping
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that I have to find a DC splitter that has both the female and the two male endings requiring that they be 4.0 mm...according to information for item #534479 from the first image above. Actually, I've been looking for such a splitter and could not...
The outer plastic covering of all the power adapter wires are disintegrating, and I would like to replace the power adapter. It appears that Sennhauser no longer supplies this adapter and I have to get it elsewhere. However, as strange as it may sound, I know that such adapters are out there...
I would like to know how to pair my Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds with my Yamaha TSR-7580? I have done my research, but to no avail. Basically, I pressed Bluetooth on the AVR's remote, set all BT functions of the AVR showing on the TV screen to ON, enabled pairing with earbuds by pressing the...
My RCA adapter cable looks like the bottom one. But at its other end is a female port into which the phone's audio cable's male jack fits. The top cable's end is the same as the end of the phone's audio cable. I probably jumped the gun in that I connected the adapter one spot over from the Zone...
Correct on speaker connections at #15 (Surround L/R, Center, Front L/R). However, I do have a RCA Y adapter at #12 (Zone Out Zone 2) and have the RT175s audio cable hooked into the adapter and the back of the RT175 set to analog. It is this latter connection that had stopped working. I have...
Sorry, Wayne, that I'm not more accurate in my statements...but this area is not one that I have any expertise in. Anyway, I have 2 main speakers, 1 center speaker, 2 rear speakers and 1 sub. They are hooked up to their corresponding L/R jacks at the AVR's back. No sound is coming from the TV...
So, in other words, my Zone2 outputs appear to be corrupted and I will not be able to attain my goal of listening to headphones while speakers are also on?
I sort of get what you are suggesting, but I need some help to know just how to do the hook ups. Here's what I don't understand: By "main-channel amp," I assume you mean using the L/R output jacks...but they are already in use for my 5.1. Obviously, confused! Here's a link to the Yamaha's back...
Can't do as you suggest as the main outputs are already being used for my 5.1 set up. However, as my wife really doesn't care about surround sound, perhaps you can suggest a set up in which I'd get stereo from my headphones and my wife just get sound???
Thanks for the suggestions, but my settings/volume are correct. Interestingly, I have used a new RCA Y adapter and was getting some sound, but now I'm not getting any sound through the phones. However, and luckily, I can still utilize the headphone jack on the front of the AVR. Not ideal as...
Been doing more fiddling, and here's where I'm at:
1. Placed the RS175's audio cable directly into the the AVR's headphone jack (using supplied adapter) in the front of unit. At first I didn't think it worked, but the headphone do work when hooked into the dedicated headphone jack (and sound no...
First, let me thank you guys for stepping in with help. Second, my bad in that since I have been fooling around some more with the Sennheiser RS175 issue, I find that I had given you some mis-leading information. I think that I have now dummied down to what the problem maybe. Here's what I did...
Not sure if this is the right place, but I'll give it a try anyway.
Until recently, I was able to hear sound from my Sennheiser TR 175 when hooked into my AVR Yamaha TSR 7850. The hook up was via left/right audio analog ports at the back of the AVR. I also had to have the AVR set to Zone 2 so...
The remote was originally programmed when Hotwire became our supplier, and the TV, AVR and STB all were sync'd until recently. All I just did was to program the remote's AVR button by allowing the remote to search for the right code. Now this is interesting, when setting up for the code search...
This may not be the right place or the right forum, but I'll give it a try.
I have a home surround sound system that is served by Hotwire, and I'm using their Fision URC remote control (URC 2025BC2...). Until recently, when selecting "Watch TV," the STB, the TV and the AVR (Yamaha TSR-7580) all...
Here's the back of the TRS (https://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/PIM/Images/TSR7850reU_f_4c911023168085ff704bfd235c729bec.jpg). I'm thinking that the firestick should plug into one of the empty HDCP2.2 ports??? Or, does it really matter which port should be used?
I have a Yamaha TSR-7850 and have initiated my PC's iTunes Airplay between the two, and it works just fine. However, I note that after playing through Airplay and then closing the iTunes app, the Yamaha screen still shows "Airplay." OK, I know that the receiver is on standby, and when Airplay...
All is now good. Finally got the receiver and PC to recognize each other. Had several corrections to make, but all works fine and the music sounds great over AirPlay.
Finally, for real, got the airplay working on iTunes. Wound up using my wife's apple id/pw as mine just wasn't being recognized. But, still not working on the receiver. Interestingly, when clicking on the airplay symbol, the receiver is not in the dropdown. I'm thinking the most likely problem...
Still having a problem. Contacted Apple help, but they couldn't solve the issue which was: I was having trouble establishing my Apple ID because when asked to agree to Apple's privacy and terms, nothing was happening. Selecting Continue=Agree on the Complete Your Apple ID screen did not do...
