I remember this movie because it came out not long after I began working at Universal Pictures in New York City. In fact, I think I used to have a promotional T-shirt for the film.
This came up on my Microsoft/Bing Rewards page today:
Viva Cantinflas
He'd be turning 110 years old today. Check out the comedian's work!
If only we could get this released on Blu Ray.
Actually this film did get some tv airings a few years ago on the Decades channel. This is where I discovered this film and was completely captivated by it. Highly recommend this movie.
So happy to hear that Bedtime Story will finally get a release! Was very happy with Kino's release of Never Steal Anything Small with Shirley Jones and look forward to Bedtime Story. There is another Shirley Jones 1964 Universal release that I would love to see: Dark Purpose. Any chance of...
I always felt that since Amazon was in the business of manufacturing MOD's for Warner Archive and even Sony, that maybe they should get into selling MOD's of movies and TV shows that they already have available on their Amazon Prime platform. There are many of us who like to have actual DVD's...
My personal hope for the Universal tv series would be THE NAME OF THE GAME. We were all excited when this was announced about 5 years ago and then quickly cancelled.
If it is a one season show then my hope would be for HAROLD ROBBINS' THE SURVIVORS. This series was more like a 15 episode...
I agree. I have both "Ghost Story/Circle of Fear" and "Born Free" from Sony and was hoping that this would be a sign of other Sony one-season dramas would be released like "Matt Helm" and "The Quest." But that never happened. I am not even sure when the last time Sony even released a MOD tv...
The Partridge Family had an episode in their 3rd Season titled "Nag, Nag, Nag" in which Danny won a race horse in a raffle and a few days before a race is suffering from insomnia.
Yes, I am so happy to see more Universal titles being released. However, every day that I check and see another Universal title being announced but still no "Never Steal Anything Small" another tear falls from my eyes. Please Kino, please Twilight Time or whoever stop the tears from my eyes and...
"Wild Women" - from the famed ABC Movie of The Week produced by Aaron Spelling.
How about some more tv movies from Aaron Spelling Productions like "But I Don't Want To Get Married!" (1970) - star-studded comedy with women chasing after a newly widowed Herschel Bernardi.
Good selection of TV Movies to be released, but there is one that I had always been hoping to see released every year around Christmas:
This is from Universal and Shirley Jones was nominated for an Emmy Award. I hope this could possibly be released on DVD by Kino.
speaking of DVD Recorders, mine broke two months ago. Do you know if anyone still manufactures them and who sells them. I want to buy a new one. I don't want a used one.
If this is true than I believe the idiot who destroyed the wrong set of tape transfers should be made to pay whatever it costs to have whatever was destroyed redone all over again.
Just found out about the Universal deal and got all excited. Today (7/17) is the birthdate of James Cagney. You should think about releasing Never Steal Anything Small as next year will be the 60th anniversary of the release of that film (February, 1959). While I'm at it I would also like to...
Since Universal has now begun releasing movies again to the Vault Series, I would like to let Universal know on this day (7/17) which is the birthdate of James Cagney. They should think about releasing Never Steal Anything Small as next year will be the 60th anniversary of the release of that...
I want to see the rest of the Bonanza seasons released. I would also like to see a release of the 1976 series The Quest that starred Kurt Russell and Tim Matheson
Just saw the news that this week the cast of Love Boat will be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame:

I know it is just wishful thinking, but this would be a perfect time...
Was glad to see the announcements last week of new releases from Shout Factory. Am especially happy about Police Story Season 3. Now just hope that they indeed get around to releasing the rest of the series.
Also would like Shout Factory to continue with The Rookies and Fantasy Island.
