Too expensive. Too gimmicky. Too often its poorly done.

I have no idea, but I just wish Spielberg would start putting deleted scenes from his films on the blurays when they come out. It has been that way for some of his films but not all. I have never been a fan of overused CGI and I prefer oldschool models.

That won't be fixed since Spielberg has now gone on record saying that he will not be doing anymore tinkering with his films. I can't argue with that approach. I wish Spielberg would allow for his deleted scenes to be viewed. Not enough of his films have those.

Just remember Star Wars is two months away. I hope the mods are ready to work overtime for that!!

I agree in regards to the Saruman omission. That scene should NEVER have been left out of the TE. Its possible it would have worked better at the end of TTT though.

Its possible, but it looks great to me. I also have a Samsung 40" LED as my computer monitor and I could hook up my bluray player to that and see there. But I recall that my calibration setting where supposed to minimize this issue.
