CBS' facebook site just posted a promo for the season 4 DVD of "Tales from the Darkside"! Can't wait! http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1518447034401
There is a new promo for "The Lucy Show" Season 2 DVD on CBS' Facebook site that shows clips from the restored episodes... http://www.facebook.com/cbshomeentertainment
I have a better question....Where's "Golden Palace"!?!? Since all of the seasons came out so fast, they had to have sold pretty well. Is it not logical to think that fans might want to complete their collection? Come on Disney, think a little outside of the box! [/url]
So if all of this...
The Lucy Show: The Official First Season DVD set has been nominated for the 2009 TV on DVD Awards. I hope everyone will please take a moment to vote for The Lucy Show. This wonderful set clearly shows that the DVD producers and CBS Home Entertainment put a lot of hard work into making it...
Has anyone heard anything yet about season 2 of "The Lucy Show" coming to DVD?
I think it would be great if CBS included "The Lucille Ball Comedy Hour" on the season 2 DVD as a bonus feature. It aired during the second season. There is a clip of this on www.TheLucyShowDVD.com.
Just found this first review of The Lucy Show: The Official First Season...

thelucyshowdvd.com is now confirming that the episodes are in fact unedited!!! It also discusses in a little more depth about the special features that will be included.

Music replacement not only includes the prominent songs that are sung etc. but also includes the underscore music that occurs many times throughout the entire episode and also during the bump ins and bump outs to commercial. Paramount replaces the original music most of the time to save...
It looks like CBS/Paramount are tossing around the idea about music replacements on The Lucy Show. :frowning: You can read more about it at thelucyshowdvd.com
Thanks David We certainly appreciate your update of what you know. Everyone should keep writing to CBS/Paramount. I am also extremely worried that if "The Lucy Show" does in fact get an official release that CBS will use music replacements just as they have done for ALL of their other...
I totally agree! I think the rumor is a great start in the right direction considering I have previously heard the complete opposite that CBS considered The Lucy Show DVD and then decided that it would be too expensive to release. Something official would definitely be better. Until then, I hope...
Hank, you would think that "The Lucy Show" is an OBVIOUS release if they are releasing Gomer Pyle. However, I have heard it through the rumor mill from a friend at CBS in NY that they don't believe they can make their money back on this release and are unwilling to take the risk. I think it's a...
