HarleyDog, Thanks for linking the video. My wife and I worked on it as a possible extra for the Criterion Blu-Ray, but we were editing in HD and their standard is 2K (a bit higher), but they were gracious enought to include it as a "Mad World" web extra. I hope you like it!Paul

My take on that, John, is that up to the fire escape sequence, the film is played as SORT of real, the Indiana Jones/James Bond theory that if one was one really good shape and REALLY lucky, the character will survive. There are no cutesy comedy angles, etc. trying to sell a gag. It is only in...

When asked about the film recently, David Picker told a friend of mine that UA thought there were sections of the film that were "deadly" and said to Kramer "If you don't cut this down, we will"So who knows?
