Hi, I have a 42" Hitache p42h401 plasma tv. When i watch dvds or HD tv that has fast motion, it seems the fast motion seens get grainy. Is there a setting on the tv that might help adjust this, or is this just the way my particular tv operates?? Thanks! Lou

Damn, well thanks for trying to help me out Chuck! It's quite irritating to even try to troubleshoot since its sporatic. Oh well, its not the worse thing in the world,but it just is a nuissance!

I didnt try a different receiver, i just swapped out mine for the exact model. Also, when i switched providers I also switched cable boxes. The picture seems to be just fine.

Hi everyone, I posted this in the "general thread" and didn't get many responses. My fault!! I recently purchased the RX-V461 from Yamaha with some Yamaha speakers. When i turn on the unit I get some crackling for about 15 minutes and then goes away. Seems only prevalent when watching cable...

Just wondering if anyone else can offer some opinions on how to fix this.

So far, I have not been able to get this to go away. It's rather annoying as it takes nearly 15 minutes to go away. Anyone else have any other suggestions.

what i mean is, i turn the receiver on then i turn on my cable and my tv. and the crackling lasts for 15-20 minutes not seconds. then goes away completely.....any ideas? thanks!
