Yeah, so far they've only released Seasons One and Two on Region 2. A&E Video did have a big honkin' sale on a lot of the ITC stuff back in January. That's how I managed to fill out the rest of my Avengers collection.

I don't think this is the first time Timeless has done this. I bought a fistful of their "Timeless Television" discs from DVDPacific.com a year back and they weren't the two-disc editions, just single-disc. Covers were the same, only the info was different. I thought I was getting a bargain...

A friend of mine e-mailed me a few days back to let me know that VCI's asked him to write the liner notes for this release. He asked me if there were any extras I'd like to see, and since I'm stymied to come up with any I open the floor for suggestions.

If my calculations are correct, then that means I shelled out close to sixty-eight bucks for a set that I could have conceivably waited and paid thirty-four simolians for. Well, fool me once, etc., etc., etc. My own fault, really--I should have known better than to take the word of a TV exec.

Well, the only real difference between the radio and television versions of FKB is that Young's character was not the wizened sage he played on the tube and the radio kids were a hell of a lot brattier. Other than that, I think it's safe to say that the radio FKB had just as much (if not more)...

I'm not even going to disclose how much I paid originally for all three I Spy box sets...nor how they went on sale the week after I bought them ('cause it still hurts to talk about it). But I am glad that the people on HTF who haven't acquired them yet are getting a pretty sweet deal.

My copy arrived in the mail today, so naturally I had to take time out to watch "Fear in a Desert City," "The Witch" and "The Other Side of the Mountain." I've never been more happy to see a show released on DVD in my entire life. Thank you, CBS/Paramount.

Columbia House has the Fugitive discs for $25.77, and since I've socked away a little "Fun Cash" I was able to get the kit and kaboodle for $15.77. Even with CH's exhorbitant s&h (6.99) the grand total came out to $22.76. I'm really looking forward to this and subsequent sets, by the way.
