I thought this show was now supposed to be released in late October, but according to dvdpacific, they have already shipped this title to me a few days ago to Australia.
I am now "confused",but happy.
Clint Walker went on strike for one year and came back. As previously mentioned,Bronco was the replacement, but was using the "CHEYENNE-Logo",for about a year. James Garner went on strike, during his Maverick days, but never came back. I read somewhere,he also sued WB and won his case against...
It is debatable,if Maverick was Warner's most popular Western they ever had. After all,CHEYENNE won The Golden Globe Award fot the best tv show/popular for 1958. I don't believe Maverick won any such awards. CHEYENNE ran for about 7-8 years, while Maverick ran for 5 Seasons. CHEYENNE is the...
CHEYENNE (Warner Brothers-The Sleeping Giant-Wake Up). The Texan (7 more episodes required) The Life And Legend Of Wyatt Earp Grey Zane Theatre(Pre-Order) The Big Valley Gunsmoke Have Gun Will Travel Here Come The Brides The Invisible Man (New Version-Old Version is completed). Alfred...
DeWilson,
The 10 episodes listed for The Texan are part of the original 70 episodes.I hope, the 10 episodes listed was a mistake by Timeless, otherwise you will be wasting your money,if you have already got the boxset.
CHEYENNE Season 2? Warner Bros haven't officially released it yet -at this point of time. Either your watching it from the Western Channel or from a bootleg site.
Just finished, watching The Texan starring Rory Calhourn.
What a great show and also enjoy the opening and closing soundtrack credits.
Rory Calhourn was perfect as The Texan and Clint Walker would have done justice to that role as well.
Now for M Squad and Gunsmoke Season 3 (After I...
I bet the executives of Warner Brothers don't bother reading:cool: those pages, otherwise :- CHEYENNE-The Complete Second Season, would have been up and running years ago.
Yes,you got it straight away. You can find more details about this show via the internet movie data base i.e. The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) A great site to find about any actor or show/film.
My brother keeps asking me,when is the comedy tv show called:- " It's About Time"-being released onto dvd. It is set during the "Dinosaur Days". Any gossip, would be appreciated. Thanks.
I am currently watching it for the very first time via my dvd season 1 disc. Seen the first 12 episodes and only found 2 episodes a bit of a let down. Enjoyable series plus the invisible man's partner a real treat to watch. The pilot was excellent.:emoji_thumbsup:
Check out the "NEWS-SECTION",for full details. Every episode shown from New Year's Day via the Starz Encore Western Channel. If only WB,would do the same thing with their dvds. Time for me to take my holidays in the states during the month of January.
Memo Warner Brothers:- In regards to your classic b/w tv shows from 1955-1963-STOP with your SPIN and tell us exactly of your plans regarding these shows.
September 15th 2008-D Day for WB TV Forum Chat. If there is a "DVD GOD" out there, please make it official for all of those classic tv shows from 55'-63" would be transferred onto dvd. My first priority will be "CHEYENNE". Any Clint "CHEYENNE" Walker Fan will tell you that the 2nd and 3rd...
As a western fan,I would like to see the complete collection of:- Swamp Fox starring Leslie Nielson, instead of the current sampler set they have at the moment.
Warner Bros have a treasure chest of classic TV Westerns and Detective Shows from 1955-1965. They are a part of American Television History, which have also been recognised with various books for these WB TV Shows. As of yesterday,CHEYENNE-The Complete First Season was still selling very well...
Someone did mention before that WB had remasterd all of the classic b/w tv shows from the 50's and 60's,so there must be some light at the end of the tunnel for CHEYENNE and the other shows from that era.;)
Doesn't Warner Brothers hold a Q and A Meeting with the general public regarding their shows on a regular basis? They need to make an official statement about their classic b/w shows from 55-64,otherwise they should all hand in their resignations. This has become ridiculous, leaving us all in...
TV Westerns:- 1)CHEYENNE-The Complete First Season. 2)Gunsmoke-Season 1. 3)The Big Valley-Season1. 4)The Life and Legend Of Wyatt Earp (Summary) 5)Wanted Dead Or Alive-Season 1,2 and 3. 6)Jim Bowie-The Complete Collection Season 1 and 2. They are all "Adult Westerns" and they all rated...
Thanks for the information. I thought the time gap was shorter. I previously saw him in the Twillight Zone episode, where his character knew that he was going to die pretty soon. They used to say that Danny Kaye Films were in some relation to what was happening to him "In His Real Life".
Hi, Just wondering,if anybody had seen this particular episode from Season 1(I think). It was Danny Kaye's last official appearance on film, just before his death on March 3rd (As well as Lou Costello) in 1987. I presume he gave a great performance as usual, but did he look as though his days...
From my collection:- Number 1 -I Love Lucy.(All Season Sets) . If only Warner Bros did it for CHEYENNE-they might learn a thing or 2 from the Lucy Sets-i.e. a labour of love. Congratulations for all those responsible for the marketing of Lucy.
My vote goes to a tv western show, which was made in 1960 and ran for 1 season (13 Episodes)-titled Tate. As a 4 year old kid growing up around that time,I have never heard of this show before. But I now have it as part of my tv western collection.
Gunsmoke Season 1 was excellent (39 episodes) Gunsmoke Season 2 (39 episodes in total) I won't be buying Volume Sets-Period! The only time I would buy volume sets would be for CHEYENNE. Volume Sets, as far as I am concerned, are for die-hard fans-only. If they want my business, then they...
