I seriously doubt they are in any way calibrated, but I fully understand your point. Just from the viewing I did, the Sony stood out a bit more. As for the size thing, it's hard to go against a bigger set. :)

Chris, the Sony seems to have a better picture. I was able to see the Sony and Sharp side by side and the picture quality was better on the Sony. I know the Sharp has a larger size, but is it worth it just for the size ? I'm going to LOOK hard at the Sony's again, then decide. Samuel...
