Once again I heard so many positive comments about SVS so far, but I could never test it myself, this is the only thing which pull me back from buying it... It's really hard to buy something without testing by myself or reviewing by someone with authority, like stereophile, Home Theatre,... I'm...

The things I hesitate for SVS is because it cannot be tested and all the comments were from the internet forum... Other than that, its vented box design seems not as good as sealed box design. Finally, its size looks huge...

I think you read it wrong. Even its specification mention it can go down to 20Hz and it is measured that it can go even lower...

This is a new subwoofer in the market which looks attractive... Here I cannot find any dealer around, so no testing can be done. Has anyone tested it or already bought it?? how does it sound?? I do really want to know more about it... both its up side and down side...

Thanks for your comment Henry!! That's what I experienced in the demo. When the Servo-15 plays music, it is really nice and can be a system with the front speaker, but when it plays movie, it somehow lacks authority... I have never tried any SVS, especially the one I'm interested in - PB12+/2...

According to the review, its quality doesn't look as great as other two, PB-12Plus/2 or Servo-15, or even Ultra/2... So I'm more focusing on the latters, not the one you suggest. Anyway, thanks!! Still waiting for more sharing on the other subwoofers...

I'm going to buy a new subwoofer for my HT. I've 2 temporarily options in my mind, one is PB12-Plus/2 and the other is Servo-15 v2. I tested the Servo-15 not long ago and it gave quite a good impression to me, especially playing for music. It was tight and went coherent with the front speakers...
