    Sub turning on and off on and off on and off

    Mine does that too.........know what the problem with mine was? I wasn't watching the movie loud enough. TURN IT UP (not sounding rude or anything) and you won't have to worry about the sub going on and off. I use to feel bad to have such a nice setup and worried about waking the neighbors up...

    thanks. that picture REALLY helps. now i can play around with things more. thanks for the info on the hdmi inputs. i figured i would need at least 2. I dont know what i would do with 3 or more.

    probably no pip funcationality, just hook it up like old days. i think i want too much for a 500 dollar receiver. looks like 3 hdmi inputs and about 4 5 or 6 s video. if i hooked up ps3 or xbox 360 to the receiver would i still get high def or would i have to unplug something for that?

    probably a ps3 when it comes our or shortly after. are you saying to hook the cable box and dvd player to two different plugs? one to receiver and one to tv? if i hook to the tv wont i lose my surround sound?

    what is a built in digital tuner? does that mean i just dont need a seperate box for HD? would i need an HD Tuner if i had an AV Receiver that had HD hookups? I'm new to all of this and dont want to buy something thinking it will work.
