Still $39.99 is pretty crazy cheap for the second season (22 episodes alone). I'm just considering the first season as a bonus feature to those who didn't pick up the original MGM/SONY release.

So the episode was a little slow and very heavy on the mythology, but it was very nice to have the series back. The only thing I disliked about the episode was that a lot of it seemed kinda useless, although I'm glad they didn't pack TOO much "big" stuff into the episode. I just hope they go...
hopefully this means a complete series box set is coming soon as well. I purchased the first two seasons on DVD, but then decided to wait for an eventual "complete series" release...
This show is amazing, but its one of those shows that you can't figure out why you like it so much. Last summer, being stuck home after my freshman year of college my friends and I watched a lot of TV to kill time, but 'Kyle XY' became an event of sorts - we never planned anything Monday nights...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: People will still buy Everwood even without special features and with music changes... The theme song was written for the show and thus isn't a problem, and that is the only song I can honestly see people even realizing has been changed....
Looks like I need to start planning one of my traditional series finale parties... As much as season 8 would probably have felt weird (like a beginning a full chapter we won't get to finish), I just can't wrap my head around the fact the show will be over in less than 2 weeks. Its the last show...
The thing is with only six episodes, is ABC going to release a 1/2-disc first season set (a la GREYS ANATOMY), or will they wait and release a "complete first and second season" set? WHAT ABOUT BRIAN (while never anywhere near as popular in the ratings) also had a 6-episode first season (8...
I would like to see a complete series box set of THE NET (from 1997) based on the Sandra Bullock movie. There was a release last year in Region 2, and I hope it comes stateside.
To be honest I'll watch the DEAD LIKE ME movie no matter what its about or who's in it. But I really hope its not a "reimagining" or something like that, I mean atleast have it be a sequel or a spin-off with a couple of the old characters (or atleast mentions of the characters). Although I would...
The thing about these cast changes is starting to remind me of ER. That series went through cast overhalls almost every season starting with season 5, and I think that NBC and the writers/producers might be trying the same thing with LAS VEGAS, especially since when LAS VEGAS premiered NBC was...
I think the thing about "What I Like About You" is that it has two semi-popular actresses, and they don't have an first season to base sales off yet. There taking a chance with it. But at the same time I really should take another change with "Everwood." I mean know that there are so many fans...
Was "The Brady Bunch" really inspired by "yours mine and ours" because that doesn't seem right... but I could just be totally wrong. Another one to add to the list would be "the net" (it ran for a year on USA, around the same time as "Buffy's" Premier)
If Warner Brothers has to ask for their to be only one EVERWOOD question... that makes me think they know how popular of a title is has become and maybe its under consideration. I mean at this point I would buy the DVDs even with changed music...
The Yogi Bear Show, I watched it all the time as a kid, but now just recenly when I bought the DVD durring an Amazon sale, I couldn't sit through the first three episodes and I ended up giving the set to my neice
I know I would have them preordered on amazon the second they where announced... I don't know why Nick seems to hesitate on releasing season sets of cartoons... especially 'Doug,' 'Rugrats,' & 'Rockos'
First, Is it even 'upcoming' still, because it was suppose to be out over 9 months ago and Secondly, since it is from sony and announced with an $29.99 MSRP I can almost gaurentee the music replacement...
I also hope that season 4 fairs in the ratings better than previous seasons, because CW has to cut a drama by January and it looks like its between 'Runaway,' '7th Heaven,' and 'One Tree Hill.' But the only consolation is that Schawn (the creator) said we will see graduation this year no matter...
Wal-Mart has seasons 1 & 2 for $19.xx right now if your interested... Personally, I started watching the series to get my 'Dawson's Creek' fix (it ended the year before this premiered), and in the very beginning (first 5 episodes or so) it was kinda slow and I wasn't really feeling it. But...
Having gone through many music replacement sets in the past, as a viewer it doesn't really affect me that much (if it is done right). 'Roswell' and 'Felicity' both had to forgo about 70% of their music in order for the sets to come out (Buena Vista actually said once that the 'Felicity' sets...
If I'm not mistaken it isn't Lynch that owns the deleted scenes... I remember reading about how he fought to get them on the current DVD, but it was just too expensive for New Line...
The 4400 - Being a big sci-fi this one seemed right up my alley, and Im so glad I bought it... me and my mother bressed through the entire set in one night. Alias - My friend kept raving about it, so I purchased the first two seasons while watching season three and couldn't stop watching...
It reruns from time to time on Cable Channels (G4, Sci-Fi, and Spike have all ran it) so it should be fairly easy to find it you wait it out and keep checking... As for DVD release - the one real thing this show has going for it is that FOX owns the rights and FOX is usually really good about...
