hi sam, tell me how you do selling them.. i have over 800 titles and a LDW1 that i want to sell....the LDW1 plays 2 disc's without opening the draw and turning them over.....some of the laser disc's are not even opened......id like to make a package deal for everything....

i love the PQ of the HDMI connection....i tried the component and thought it looked washed out....and the sound was much better thru HDMI for me as well.....

i had trouble with sleepy hollow with 1.4 firmware...it skipped and sound would go out when he first enters the party at baltus vantassles house...i watched it thru and the picture didnt look right to me....after buying over 30 HDDVD's i knew something wasnt right with this.....i reloaded 1.2...

PITCH BLACK WAS FANTASTIC....and the blacks in the movie were pitch black

welcome to the land of HDDVD, upgrade that HDMI cable jimmy....you get what you pay for....the people who are telling you to not upgrade are probably running 20ga home depot zip cord with 200 wpc amps to there speakers...now you wouldn't do that ...WOULD YOU?????

i think all this chip garbage is just made up....i have nothing but good results from my Blu Ray player....SURE the movies could be mastered better but that will come with time....im a very patient man...Sony has just too many movies in there catalogue that i want for me to wait....i might...

im using the BB HDMI switcher now and it works great...it only has 2 in and 1 out....im switching to a geffen 4X2 ....there about 495.00 this way i can route 4 HDMI in and route 2 out ...one to the reviever and one to my bedroom...saves money in the long run where i dont have to pay for another...

mine is 2006/05 i have absolutely no problems with mine and i have 10 movies and more on order....my best looking movies are underworld evolution and ultra violet...they come close to my HDXA1 in PQ....

how can ya go wrong at 17.95 a HDDVD movie with free shipping and no tax...even if the movie sucks ya gotta buy it...HAHaaaaaaa!!!!!

i bought all the Paramount movies in HDDVD....gotta love that 10% discount at Amazon.........

get a Memorex OptiFix Pro.....it works great and dosnt scratch the disc....i clean the movies right out of the case even brand new....i had brand new disc's that skipped and went out of sync right from the case....cut down on 99% of the skipping and sync problems....if you have any trouble after...

at 49 years old you need more recoup time for your body...knock off the bench's at 3 times a week whether it be for tone up or power....bench only 2 times or less a week but make it intense either way you do it.....take it from me i'm 59 years old and im benching over 400 lbs...

if you play a backup the quality wouldnt matter anyway because to fit a movie on a backup dvd you can only record 4.3 gigs anyway so the movie will be compressed and not be the same image as a store bought dvd....

i heard the price of the blu ray drives were alot more than the HDDVD drives....the sony blu ray is supposed to have a seperate sound board in there's for 999 but it cant play CD's so i heard...all the spec sheets on the blu ray players are so vague its hard to say what they can cut out to make...

so if i buy a PS3 with HDMI 1.3 in order to get the full value of 1.3 i have to buy a new reciever or a new HDTV....hahahaaaaa i dont think so....even if the HDTV has HDMI 1.3 did you ever try watching a movie thru your TV speakers.....

i had no problems with T2 in either the DTS or DD mode...i watched it in both modes yesterday and didnt see any jitter or stutter....the punisher was the one that gave me the real trouble....saw stuttered a little but was really annoying to me......the only title on HD-DVD that had drop outs in...

i'm sorry but i dont listen to any couch monkey's review...i make my own assessment of the movie myself....for one thing there watching it on there tv and there set up...NOT MINE....audio and video quality differ on any different hook up....the chances of you having the same hook up as this so...

trust me punisher and saw was the only 2 i had trouble with the stutter problem....i have all the blu ray titles and those were the only 2 with stutter or dropped frames or what ever you want to call it....and theres not much difference between the DTS or the DD sound tracks on these 2...

there are not any bad BB titles....juts that CC and BB dosnt know how to set up there blu ray for crap...i got mine home and it works perfect....there was stutter in saw and punisher but rachel b said to switch from DTS to DD and everything was fine..no stutter at all...even 5th element everyone...

thank you thank you thank you Rachael B, your little trick worked by switching to DD.....and actually the sound was almost the same on DD....DTS was a little crisper and the center channel was clearer....it worked for punisher now to try saw...... thank you again
