Ok, then that will provide me with a total of 3 zones. The HT, the second zone on the reciever and then this as the third. Correct? Does this mean that the speakers i power with this device should only be 70w or less? btw thanks for all your help on all these topics. Its been a big help

yea, the 2807 is the closest match. I cant spend 900 for my reciever. I know there are ads for $700, but i dont trust the sites that advertise it. If i could spend it i would. the 2807 is incredible.

im doing this because of the way my system is set up. I have 60 ft from component to TV. Therefore i dont want to run multiple HDMI. Instead i am using the reciever as a hub. I am taking advantage of the covenience of hdmi, nothing more. no quality difference.

read the individuals that posted a review at cnet. They are complaining about the lack of 1080p passthru. I want this reciever as well. In fact im on the phone with onkyo right now. Problem is i dont think thier staff know what the hell im talking about.

I can never say for sure when im referencing individual reviews but it seems that I should question that devices ability to pass through 1080p. Can anyone give me an alternative reciever with the same kind of features. in have a range of $500 to $1000.
