So Mill Creek is reissuing The Beast, Patrick Swayze's last on screen performance, sadly.
With the Sony issue being "out of print", it's still available at Amazon.
Run without hesitation if you're even thinking about getting this.
The Mill Creek release will be a 2 disc edition.
Sony's was...
I totally agree. I thought when Boston Legal was announced that it would be a no brainer to release the episodes that introduced those wacky, wonderful characters. But my no brainer is a headache to people who actually release these things, apparently. I'd still like to see every season of...
I had to get this as well. Already owning the first season in the Starburst edition and the first two Starburst editions of season 2. I bought the original season 2 set at a price i couldn't turn down. So I do have some repeated episodes as far as season 2 goes. But now the complete set is...
Ahh, thanks for clearing that up for me. Having seen a few Murder She Wrote (didn't care for it), and very few Ellery Queen (but liking EQ, from what I remember anyway), the aforementioned episode sounded like it would make a good extra to include, but maybe not.
I'm guessing your talking about out on a Murder She Wrote DVD set, which I am not interested in, which, would be a good reason not to release it again, except that I am not interested in Murder She Wrote at all. But would be interested in seeing that one episode that had to do with Ellery Queen.
Family Ties is not a show I watched and thankfully not on my list of must haves.
I am behind, but it is fun collecting and looking at my wall of dvd's. Movies and TV.
I bought the Get Smart set from Time Life right out of the gate and man what a let down.
As a kid I couldn't wait to watch it...
Pre-ordered mine today. Hope to see the last two seasons at some point in the future. The price was right. Can't really argue with 21 bucks for some Ted Baxter hilarity!
Man, that is a sorry circumstance. It's also a TV show buyers worst nightmare. Fortunately I havn't had that problem yet. It's just a matter of time, I'm sure. Updated list through March 1st. http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/3476312-post19.html
Updated January viewing. I like pretty much everything I watch. So not many comments except for when I don't like. I don't know how to link to it like you computer gurus. Got to go to work. I'll try to figure it out later. I'm sure it's not that hard. But for now, I'm number 19...
To log or not to log, that is the question? I keep a spiral notebook of watched shows. I have so many that to not keep track gets frustrating trying to figure out what I've seen on a disc. Especially when a show has been left off in the middle of the season, for whatever reason, of which...
Well, apparently no one gives a Hennessy about this show.
Couldn't agree more. The show has an Amazon ranking of 3851. I think that means it's not selling all that great. And with the lack of posts here it kind of tells the story. I liked the show well enough and am glad it's first season...
Like most here, I hate the cardboard sleeves. But, I have several that with extreme caution and sweating bullets I extract discs from. Stargate SG-1 had, upon arrival only small scuffs and so far thru six seasons all have played flawlessly. Would much rather have a full series in a case like...
This would be a guarantee, no doubt about it whatsoever BluRay buy. First day, no questions asked. Regardless of price. I love this show. Even though I haven't made it to the fourth season yet. I'm so sorry. I do however own the Peacekeeper show wrap up, story tie up.... whatever. Just waiting...
Ok, this is a thorny issue for me. Let me just say that I don't know anything about what a company that burns on demand is using to do the burning. Now wait. Is it like my equipment that I have here at my house? It must be much better than what I have. Right? I don't particularly like the...
As far as packaging goes, I don't like the cardboard either, but if you use care in removing and replacing, there shouldn't be a problem with scratching. Minor scuffs were present along with some small dabs of what looks like glue, which came off with no problem, on a few of the discs. I've had...
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the differences. I have been on the fence about which format to get on this and some others as well. I'll be buying "Firefly" again on BD. I would also consider "Alias" if it ever came out on BD.
For some reason I can only think of per episode price when buying TV product. Two bucks per episode is my limit. In my cheap mind I really like one buck per episode better. So, sales and price drops are greatly anticipated. Must haves are few.
I agree, great fun. I remember watching with dad, and the prints are very good considering the age. I thought the pilot was the worst of the 8 episodes I've seen so far. Probably because it was the pilot. The stories are getting better as the season progresses. Hope someone does pick it up...
I agree with the flow of Alias and some other shows. Alias for sure is a, watch till the season is over type show. You just have to see what happens next. Dead Zone does that too me also. It doesn't have the same flow as Alias, but it seems to get me watching more than a couple when I do watch...
65 sets in progress is awesome diversity. Not a record from the total I just counted of my sets in current rotation. (ie-when the feeling strikes I watch) 83 ladies and gentlemen. Thank you very much. The fans go WILD!! haha
My job prohibits planning anything on any night, so I just watch what I feel likeat any particular time that I actually have time. Latest series watched was Firefly's last 7 eps. Then the Serenity movie (I know not TV). I had previously watched the beginning of the Firefly series some months...
Just yesterday, I was telling my wife how it sucked Hill Street Blues was stuck on two seasons. Having watched the first season, I'm holding off on the second just because once I watch it, that's it, it's over. That will be a sad day for me. boo hoo
I was one of the people that had to have TMFU as soon as I could get my spy loving hands on it. Still haven't watched very many episodes. I do that all the time. Buy and it sits on the shelf. As for the briefcase, be very carefull. Don't use the handle to hold it. I could see the handle...
