Should I wait for HDMI 1.3 to buy new TV and AV receiver?

Both of the TVs I mentioned are rear projection SXRDs. As for AV receivers, actually 1.3 HDMI compatible ones will be released this or next month, these Onkyo receivers will be released soon (I'm not sure if they have already been released !) : http://www.cepro.com/news/editorial/18872.html

Should I wait for HDMI 1.3 to buy new TV and AV receiver?

I've heard that the new A3000 SXRDs might have 'em which will be released in June/July. The XBR5 SXRDs will almost definitely have 'em which will be released September/October. So I think that we'll see a lot more 1.3 HDMI compatible HDTVs and AV receivers after July.

Should I wait for HDMI 1.3 to buy new TV and AV receiver?

IMO since you're planning on buying both, why not wait a little and buy 1.3 HDMI comptaible ones, my position is similar to yours, and that's what I'm going to do.

Importing an SXRD from the US, Voltage/Frequency questions..

Thinking about getting a Sony SXRD KDS-60A2000

Thanks for replying, but when you said: Will that effect the picture in a bad way (for example if I'm playing a 720p media), or it doesn't make any difference ?
