Well, the 34-incher is right out then. I don't know if I could tolerate the thought of going from 36-inches to 34-inches (even if it is 16:9)! So it seems now the decision is between the Sony 51" CRT Projection HDTV (Model KDP-51WS655)and the Sony 42" Grand WEGA 3LCD Rear Projection HDTV...

I remember researching the XR70, but passed it up. I couldn't tell from the tiny rear-panel picture how many HDMI ports it had (looks like two, which would mean 1 in/1 out). Panasonic doesn't let you download their user manuals from their website without "registering your product", so I couldn't...
